As a community human service professional, I am compassionate to the personal developmental needs of others. As a Licensed Master Social Work Intern at Keuka College, my specializations are Family Intervention, Grief and Loss, Community Health, Diversity in the Workplace, and Intercultural Communications. Creativity, leadership, and love of community are my passion. I am a stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer conqueror and I attribute my courage and strength to my faith.
As an advocate, I share my journey to empower others. My most cherished sources of pride are my union with my spouse of 32 years, my 4 beautiful adult children, and my 9 grandchildren. I am determined to “live my best life” by canceling fear with faith, “You must do the thing which you think you cannot do” -Eleanor Roosevelt.
As an inspirational speaker and writer, I aim to share a tumultuous journey, stories of wisdom, and a pool of relevant experiences to be a light to others. I hope to inspire and empower others to thrive through a holistic approach to mental health. I enjoy writing and journaling and inspiring community events that encourage hope and joy.
